Description

Water is important to land use and valuation. Land practitioners, brokers, land use planners, and landowners must consider water rights before any other factor, for all that lives must have water. This course covers the complexities of water rights in Idaho. Discussed are topics relating to prior appropriation, legal proceedings of the Snake River Basin adjudication, domestic and municipal rights, abandonment and for forfeiture, geothermal rights, and surface, ground and stock rights.
