Creating Housing Opportunity empowers REALTORS® to address housing affordability, implement smart growth principles, and advocate for sustainable and equitable housing solutions. The primary factors influencing affordability are economic, social, and policy-driven challenges. Smart Growth principles can enhance quality of life, economic development, and community inclusivity. An course also emphasizes adapting to changing consumer preferences, highlighting the market appeal of sustainability features, and overcoming barriers like zoning restrictions and community resistance. By exploring real-world case studies and engaging in practical exercises, REALTORS® will develop actionable strategies to create housing opportunities that benefit clients and foster vibrant, resilient communities.
